Transformation Tuesday | Stretch, not struggle 🧘🏽‍♀️🙌🏽

>> Here’s the AUDIO of today’s Transformation Tuesday.

My general rule for moving forward on your most important projects, soul callings and life goals with ease and spiritual alignment is this:

Stretch, not struggle.

Start living your intentions by creating goals that feel delicious to you — like a gift you’re giving yourself  — and also feel like they would stretch you to new levels, sparking joyful growth and learning.

Here’s the deal: Your eternal soul came here, into this meat-covered skeleton of yours, specifically for three things.

Growth and joy are two of the three.

Stretching yourself to do the callings you’re not yet ready to do facilitates growth and joy. (And, as quiet as it’s kept, the only way you can become ready to do your callings is to actually start doing them.)

But the lie of our culture says you’re unworthy of living a wonderful life — with meaningful work you love, beautiful surroundings, financial wealth, a thriving family, and a delectable love life — unless you prove your worthiness via hard hustle or grind. The kind that creates burnout.

And the lie of our culture says even if you do work your heart out to do what you love, you have to continue keeping all those plates in the air in a perfectionistic way or the other shoe will may drop.

So you’d better not take a break.

Better not sit still too long.

Better not enjoy yourself too much. Or celebrate your life too much. Or even allow yourself to spend a little money without fretting and worrying about it.

And you’d certainly better not act too happy without placing exceptions, limitations and caveats all over your own joy.

When all is well with you, you’d better take pains to make sure everyone knows that you know how hard life is for other people or how hard it used to be for you, how far you come, how hard you’re still working or how difficult your life still is.

Celebrating your life without caveats seems like tempting fate, when you are still under the influence of this trance.

Catch this principle: All of that is all a lie of culture.

Even though everyone you know might believe it: all lies.

That’s why we call it a trance… most people you know believe it because it seems that’s the way the world works.

But here’s the truth: You are worthy of wonderful things, now, with no further ado.

No further delay.

No further conditions.

No further performing.

No more struggle.

No more prerequisites.

You can relax now.

Relax into this truth: You were born to be joyful, loved, and to breathe life into your beautiful ideas… and you’re not just worthy of feeling wonderful when you check the boxes of your Big Goals off of that bucket list in the sky.

You’re worthy of a wonderful life now… and all along the way.

But until you wake up from the cultural lie – the trance of unworthiness – it feels normal and even virtuous to set your vision and goals in ways that flip your struggle switch straight to ‘on’.

Sometimes, struggle-switch goals are goals you don’t even care that much about, at soul-level. You just set them because you think you should or you are supposed to.

And sometimes, struggle-switch goals are goals you do actually have some innate soul-level desire to do, but you set your action plans for realizing them in such a restrictive, harsh way that just thinking about them sucks all the life force right out of what was originally a beautiful, inspired idea.

So YES. Growth and joy are your objectives, as a being of soul and spirit in this electrical, chemical, beautiful physical body.

But there’s one more spiritual strategy objective of the human experience, and it’s really important: Freedom.

When you set struggle-switch goals for yourself, you basically exercise your freedom in the direction of creating more bondage for yourself.

You fail to honor your own Inner Guidance.

You divorce your own sweet self when you fail to honor the reality of your own feelings: the voice of the Divine that speaks to you and within you.

You also set yourself up for failure when you set struggle-switch goals because, catch this principle: Whatever you force or restrict, you fixate on.

(Want to know what happens when you decide to eat no carbs? Not only do you want to eat all the carbs, you think about all the carbs all the time.)

On the other hand, when you meet your own inner experience with 100% openness, warmth, approval, hospitality and compassion…

When you say “YES, ok Self, that’s real, I hear you”, when the struggle switch flips on, and you dial back all that forcing so you can focus on inspiration instead…When you practice radical self-acceptance, radical self-compassion, radical self-care, and radical self-love, even as you take steps toward building your transformational business empire, writing your book, co-creating an elevated family, or creating a platform of personal financial wellbeing…

Then, you can expect two things to happen:First: Your goals will quickly start to seem beside the point. Because you’ll have already started living in freedom, growth and joy.

You’ll realize you’re already living in a paradise of your own creation. With no further delay.

No further ado.

No further hard hustle.

No further conditions.

No further prerequisites.

And, second: Your goals start happening.

Fast.

Your daydreams and childhood dreams start to become your actual real life, by grace and in perfectly wonderful, surprising and delightful ways.

Your whole world starts to change because when you practice radical acceptance and self love you are getting into agreement with your Source, who loves you.

As you team up with the creative power that forms all worlds, everything in your Being that is not consistent, compatible or aligned with your soul’s desires either get fully on board with your desires or shed like a snake’s molten skin.

You are worthy of the very best in life.

You’ll begin to receive it the moment you release resistance to your own magnificence… the moment you stop believing in your own unworthiness.

You are worthy of the very best in life.

And that life it begins now.

Transformation Tuesday | How easy can you let 2020 be? 🌊😌

>> Here’s the AUDIO of today’s Transformation Tuesday.

Today I’m just issuing you a gentle invitation.

I invite you, as you step into your 2020 intentions, to ask yourself this question over and over again: “How easy can I let this be?”

As you may know, 2019 was a year of massive life transition for me. And not all of the transitions were ones I initiated, consciously speaking.

But they were all portals for wonderful things that my Inner Being had clearly desired, without my conscious mind even being in on it.

That was a word for someone right there. Sometimes your Inner Being has clarity on a vision or desire that your conscious mind hasn’t yet caught up with.

Anyhow, all along the way, I practiced staying tuned into the truth that everything in this Universe supports my thriving.

And I practiced reminding myself daily that it all works out for my good in the end, and all along the way, too.

And I took myself up on my own invitation to shift from high-achieving mode to high-allowing and high-receiving mode.

And I challenged myself to let the action I was called to take, to let that action be as easy as it could possibly be.

So I made wonderful progress in cranking on the flow-based, inspiration-driven momentum last year meditating and journaling with the mantra: Let it be easy.

But then I realized that the Ruler in my Archetypes* — that trait in my Divine Wiring  — didn’t even know how easy some things could be.

I was addicted to doing things the hard way.

(And I don’t use the word “addiction” loosely. An addiction is a pattern that is toxic and you know it and you can’t easily stop doing it.)

So yeah. I was addicted to doing things the hard way.

So I made quantum leaps in living a life of spacious, great-feeling, magical-feeling momentum when I shifted my mantra from “let it be easy” to “how easy can I let it be?”

That brings us to your writing prompt for today.

Take 5 minutes and visualize yourself just doing your dreams, living your intentions.

Then write down these words, in your journal: How easy can I let it be?”

Then just write, freely, whatever wants to come up in response to that question.

It might be:

  • Very specific people you know who can help you cut the line to your intention
  • It might be a baby step in the direction of your dream that lights up as a natural next step before you, or
  • It might be a jolt of clarity that you’ve been keeping yourself stuck based on false prerequisites.
  • It might even be a moment of total vault unlocking clarity about what it *really* is that your Inner Being wants you to let be easy in the first place!

Whatever it is, write all about it, then share in the Spiritual Strategy™ for High-Achieving Women Facebook Group.

*NOTE: If you’d like to learn about your own archetypes and how they might be blindsiding you, take my free Sacred Money Archetypes® assessment, here.

Transformation Tuesday | What to do with painful emotions 😞

Brilliant One,

>> Here’s the AUDIO of today’s Practice Guidance.

What do you do with your most intense, most unwanted feelings, like when you feel hurt, rageful or just incredibly sad?

The answer depends on where you are in the journey of your life and your awakening.

When you are a child (chronologically or spiritually), you think and speak and act like a child — and you feel and react to your feelings like a child, too.

And that primal, inborn, immature reaction loop goes like this: You touch the hot stove, you jerk your hand back. The end.

When you’re a child, you do the same thing with your feelings.

The knee-jerk reaction of trying to run from whatever it was that made you feel how you feel, trying not to feel what you feel, jerking back, denying your feelings, building up touchy subjects where you just won’t go, or shoving your feelings down, that sort of Emotional Maturity Level One.

When you mature a tiny bit, you may learn to reframe your feelings, which might make them a tiny bit more tolerable. Sometimes this is appropriate, like reframing fear as excitement, because that’s actually what it is.

All fear is unintegrated excitement.

But other times, reframing is just a slightly more clever way to shove your feelings down, to mute the devastation, or the anticipated devastation: another device for avoiding the full smack of your feelings.

Then, at some point along your path in life, some wise woman might tell you to “feel your feelings”.

So you decide to try that.

And when you do, you a taste the superpower of radically accepting everything about who you are, including how you feel and your experience of living this human life.

Maybe you even learn a little system for this radical acceptance, like the one that is taught by Tara Brock, and when you feel an unwanted feeling you take a sacred pause, and you note it, and you name it, and you investigate it with kindness and great self-compassion and you decline to identify yourself with the emotion but rather let it pass through you.

And at this stage, you might even realize that feeling your feelings allows for the expansion that always follows contraction in this Universe and in your inner world.

And that gets you ready for the mastery stage, in which you begin to do what my teacher David Richo so beautifully articulates when he says to greet your emotions not just with acceptance, but with “warmth” and even “hospitality”.

All of your emotions, even the really shitty feeling ones.

Then he says this: To allow your emotions to “have their career within you.”

Let that land for a minute.

Give your emotions — especially the unwanted ones  — the time, space and respect they need to course through you and do their work within you.

Let them do their job of clarifying what you deeply do and do not want in your life.

Let your emotions do their job of surfacing old, childhood wounds and abandonments that need acknowledging, grieving and letting go so that you can go free.

Let your anger do its work of awakening you to boundaries violated.

And let your all-encompassing, overwhelming, disproportionate emotional reactions to things that are happening today be your detector of the ancient voids within you that are only fillable by Divine love, so you can stop looking for love in all the wrong places, open your heart to Divine Love and use person you encounter as an excuse to flow that perfect, Divine Love all over and into.

Let your emotions do their work of awakening from old, broken blueprints you’ve allowed to become the stories that are living you.

And let them do their work of cleansing and energizing you, requiring you to rest for a time in the limitless love that formed all worlds and knows and loves every hair on your head.

Allow your emotions to do their work within you and those most dreaded, most unwanted feelings will come to an end.

Because you’ve allowed their purpose to be fulfilled.

But before they end, they spark an alchemy of crystalline focus, and clarity, and joy, as they end their career and return you wholer than you ever been into the present moment, so you can begin to live new blueprints, new templates for relationships, and love, and creative fulfillment.

All week, I’ve been micro obsessed with this poem from Rilke’s Book of Hours:

God speaks to each of us as he makes us,
then walks with us silently out of the night.

These are the words we dimly hear:

You, sent out beyond your recall,
go to the limits of your longing.
Embody me.

Flare up like a flame
and make big shadows I can move in.

Let everything happen to you: beauty and terror.
Just keep going. No feeling is final.

Don’t let yourself lose me.

In the mastery stage of emotional maturity, you may even realize that the brilliant Rilke needed a tiny edit when he wrote to let both beauty and terror happen to you.

Because your unwanted emotions — including and especially the universal terror of feeling unloved — they’re not actually happening to you.

They are happening for you.

They are happening to surface for you the folly and impossibility of looking for your mate or your achievements or your wealth to fill the void that only God-love can fill.

And it’s precisely when you learn to let beauty and terror happen for you and have their career within you that you realize their job is to bring you back to this limitless Divine love, which is already coursing through the center of your heart and is always available to you.

And then one day the emotions retire, their career ends, your tears dry. And they reveal whole edifices of Spirit and infrastructures of brilliance and topographies of joy and love within you.

And that, my friend, is what you do with unwanted emotions:

You let them have their career within you.

You let them do their job.

And then you let them retire.

Transformation Tuesday | Between Beautiful Arrival Moments 🌷

Brilliant One,

Every transition is an opening.

An interrupt.

A pause, full of fresh possibilities, some of which you might not even have seen or daydreamed or conceived of yet.

The space between HERE and THERE – the space of a transition – is actually the same thing as your whole life, because your whole life is between here and there, minus a beautiful few arrival moments.

So let these spaces and seasons be filled with the ambrosia of expectancy and the excitement of not knowing what’s coming.

Doing that requires that you let it be exciting.

That you let the excitement of not knowing what’s coming not be out there as a thing foreign or separate to you, but bring it into your being.

Integrate it, by wholeheartedly engaging with the subject of your transitions whether you want to or not, whenever you’re ready.

If you’re transitioning into love, start reading about and studying and understanding and learning the art of soulful relationships.

If you’re transitioning into a season of more money, start studying financial systems even if they seem boring to you. Wholeheartedly engage with the subject.

But whenever you’re ready, let it be easy and let it be in Divine Timing.

No rush.

Because if you think about it, in one way your most important job is to trust and call in Divine Order.

To relax into Divine Timing.

To watch and wait for wonderful things.

And to understand that the excitement of not knowing what’s next for your life only comes in two flavors: integrated and unintegrated.

The unintegrated kind feels like fear.

And the integrated kind feels like exhilaration.

This is helpful to know, because it’s really one of the easiest inner switches you can flip, from unintegrated excitement to integrated.

How do you flip that switch?

Well, first, you stop saying I’M AFRAID or I DON’T KNOW and start saying I’M EXCITED.

I’m not kidding. Just doing that helps. Try it next time it’s appropriate.

What else flips the switch?

Engagement with your whole heart.

With the whole subject.

In other words: ARE YOU IN?

Are you pushing this transition away?

Are you judging certain outcomes or certain activities or certain tasks as bad, terrible, catastrophic, even just irritating, annoying? Are you calling certain outcomes or stages you’re in right now a setback?

Are you judging yourself as not up to the task?

Are you judging the universe as harsh, unkind, scarce, hard or unlikely to divulge outcomes you want, that are good for you and to you?

Or are you all the way in?

No longer fighting the waves of life.

Diving in to surf them, instead.

With total trust. Knowing that everything is always working out for you.

Transformation Tuesday | The Newly Aligned You 💃🏿

Brilliant One,

>> Here’s the AUDIO of today’s Transformation Tuesday

Whether you know it or not, whether you FEEL it or not, today begins a new season for you.

Actually, every day does.

But let’s talk about today.

You are fresh and new today.

Today you have the capacity to achieve more alignment between your spirit, your identity, your beliefs, your decisions, your actions and your environments more today than you ever have before.

Today, may the abundance of the spheres settle perceptibly on you, I want you to be able to feel yourself surrounding and enrobed and enveloping you in grace, favor and surprising, wonderful things.

Today, may you embrace the new levels of vision and wisdom, intelligence, love and light that are now available to you.

May you feel yourself as one with Infinite Spirit. With the Divine.

May you receive an unlimited anointing with clarity and direction and energy and joy and focus, and may this anointing fuel you as you do whatever you do today to answer your Divine, innermost callings and step into showing up however you are called to show up today in the world.

Come to think of it – may you receive, period.

May you establish a continuous connection with Source today. Right now. During this Inner Retreat.

And may that connection remain unbroken for longer today than it ever has before.

If and when that connection is interrupted, may you receive it again more quickly today than you ever have before.

In my prayers for you, I always give thanks that the Divine and perfect plan for your life is coming to pass right now.

And then I always make a point to say, out loud, that we release resistance to every element and stage of the Divine plan for our lives.

Because we don’t know how things will play out, even when we’re in a season of uncomfortable or unwanted developments.

All we know is that everything is always working out for us.

So I give thanks for this perfect day today, wherever you’re at, because today is an element and a stage of the perfect plan for your life whether it feels like it or not.

Today, right now.

May your disappointments be transformed into joy, clarity, knowledge, understanding and wisdom and courage today.

I invite you to set down old things today.

In fact, in particular, I ask you especially to put down the tendency to armor up or tense up in anticipation of losing love or approval or losing everything or whatever it is your lizard, fearful, brain tells you you might lose if you take the natural next steps toward full alignment with your highest self, and your soul’s callings and the Divine.

You might even want to visualize yourself literally taking your armor off now, and setting it down.

Set it down.

You no longer need those stories to protect you.

You no longer need those limits to protect you.

You no longer need to over-consume anything to protect yourself.

You no longer need to smooth your edges or contort any kind of way to receive love.

You no longer need to act smaller or be quieter or hold back.

You no longer need to bond with those people over your limitations or your struggles or outrage or gossip or struggle.

You no longer need to pretend you still are who you once were.

You no longer need to stay in those old contracts with people.

You can come out now.

You can unfurl now.

You can speak up now.

You can open up now.

You can open your heart and your mind and especially your arms to receive everything, everything, everything, everything this Universe has for you.

You now have the capacity to take in the fullness of life and love and joy, you now have the capacity to rise to what your new life requires of you, asks of you, is calling forth from you, is pulling out of you, is grooming you for.

You can now receive people as they are, without anyone being bad or wrong.

You can receive them, take them or leave them and love  them either way.

You can now do boundaries, flexibly.

With wonderful judgment and wisdom and also great, vast, tremendous self-respect.

That’s what boundaries do, they create self-respect.

You can hold them as powerful and stop fixing for them, stop borrowing their issues, allow them to learn what they need to learn.

You can hold yourself as powerful.

You can restore yourself to your own greatness.

You can reclaim your own sovereignty over your own experience of life.

And you can do this now, today, right now – before any other circumstance has firmed up or changed.

Transformation Tuesday | What are you becoming? Hint: 🌊🌊🌊

>> Here’s the AUDIO of today’s Transformation Tuesday

The #1 word people use when describing their vision, intention or goals to me is this: “SCARY”.

#2 is “BIG” and #3 is “terrifying”.

I’ve definitely detected a fear theme here.

My general rule is that if you have a deep calling to a thing like being drawn to a magnet and it terrifies you a tiny bit, you should definitely be trying to do it.

See, anytime someone mentions fear as they describe a thing they’d like to do in their next season, I’m reminded of what Tara Mohr says when she lays out the traits of a true, deep, soul-level calling.

She says you know when something is truly a calling when, among other things:

1. You aren’t yet who you’ll need to become to fulfill it, and

2. You don’t yet have what you’ll need to have in order to carry it out.

The gap between who you are now and who you’ll need to become to answer your soul’s callings is precisely the part people find scary.

But that gap is also how your callings transform you.

Catch this principle: Your callings call forth your greatness.

But you can’t become who you need to become to do your callings by:

  • sitting in a room thinking about them
  • talking to your friends about them, or
  • making plans to do them after you handle whatever the Life Issue of the Day happens to be today, or this week or month or year

You can only become who you need to be to do your callings by doing your callings.

I also like to point out to those who are feeling the urge to retreat on the brink of stepping into their callings that it’s very easy — tempting, even — to confuse fear with awe.

It’s easy to confuse fear with the exhilaration that meets you on the precipice of your expansion.

It’s even easy to interpret your deep, thrilling excitement at the adventure before you as fear.

The only way to integrate that excitement is to do what Dave Richo teaches, which is to “pretend you’ll survive” and do the scary thing anyway… to wholeheartedly engage with the subjects of your fear.

That’s the Spiritual Strategy I use and teach.

As a practical matter, for me that means that when I look at my own vision for my own season, when I see the components and subjects that take my breath away or seem the most daunting, those are the ones I’m already beginning to:

  • Explore,
  • Learn more about,
  • Upgrade my beliefs about,
  • Speak into existence and
  • Build skills and team and resources for right now,

…even for projects I envision being 1, 2 or 3 years out.

Here’s a playful way to do this for yourself:

Just envision the character you want to become in the next chapter of your life story.

Just put yourself in the shoes of the author.

As the author of your own life story, ask yourself: What will this character need in the next chapter?

Ask yourself: What skills, tools, guidance and mentoring will your character need?

Then: Start resourcing the character you are becoming… now

And as you put these resources in place, occasionally consult this poetic roadmap for navigating fear from Khalil Gibran:

It is said that before entering the sea

a river trembles with fear.

She looks back at the path she has traveled,

from the peaks of the mountains,

the long winding road crossing forests and villages.

And in front of her,

she sees an ocean so vast,

that to enter

there seems nothing more than to disappear forever.

But there is no other way.

The river can not go back.

Nobody can go back.

To go back is impossible in existence.

The river needs to take the risk

of entering the ocean

because only then will fear disappear,

because that’s where the river will know

it’s not about disappearing into the ocean,

but of becoming the ocean.

Transformation Tuesday | PSA: What can you still do this year? ✅

Friends,

>> Here’s the AUDIO of today’s Transformation Tuesday

As I’ve mentioned over the past couple weeks, I’m already deep into my own personal, long-and-leisurely 2019 offramp… and gear-up for 2020.

Right now, I’m knocking out a bunch of what I call completions.

Completions include any:unfinished businessunresolved issues messy subjects, or tasks I’ve been avoiding.

I’m also doing a few “finish strong” sprints on projects that are pretty good-sized.

I like to start — and finish — a couple of meaty projects every Fall for two reasons:

First, I love the feeling of harnessing the power of the year-end milestone to access my inner stores of energy to get the projects done.

And I also love using the momentum I generate during the fourth quarter of this year to light a fire under my 2020 projects come the first quarter of next year.

So I thought I’d share a little list that downloaded into my mind, rapid-fire, during meditation the other day.

Here are 20 things you can still do before 2020:

1. Clean something up: a closet, a crawl space or a relationship

2. Discard belongings and thought processes that don’t work or no longer serve you

3. Get rid of possessions that have energetic ties to old bullshit

4. Allow yourself to outgrow what you’ve outgrown

5. Allow yourself to desire what you desire

6. Start allowing yourself to be what you be and say what you mean, 100%, unapologetically

7. Stop telling an old story about your limitations or an old disappointment or regret

8. Give away things that you no longer use, need or love

9. Celebrate something (anything)

10. Complete something (anything)

11. Start learning one skill you’ll need to bring your 2020 vision to life

12. Create a new, needed boundary, you know what it is… and start enforcing it, too

13. Make one “necessary ending” to a pattern that no longer serves you

14. Start building the “muscle” of a tiny self-care practice, like journaling or taking a walk at lunchtime

15. Spot one pattern of negative self-talk and stop practicing it, rehearsing it or energizing it

16. Re-establish yourself TO YOURSELF as sacred, holy and magnificent (because you are all those things)

17. Do something fun or creative for no good reason, just because

18. Notice and revel in one item of evidence of the abundance of this Universe per day

19. Write a book.

NOTE: I’m not kidding. I’m just opening up enrollment in 1QB, my One Quarter Book-Writing Boot Camp, where I’ll coach you to start and finish your transformational book by New Year’s week, 2020.

>> Learn more or register in my One Quarter Book-Writing Boot Camp before we raise the price in 2020, here: soultour.com/1qb

20. Learn something new about yourself so you can make empowered, new choices in 2020.

Transformation Tuesday | Autumn is for SHEDDING 🍁

>> Listen to the AUDIO of today’s Transformation Tuesday.

Let’s shift our focus to alignment.

Alignment is an aperture, an opening, for abundance.

It opens you up to the flow that is already trying to come to you.

Do you know what else alignment does?

It flips the struggle switch off.

And it creates an inner atmosphere of peace.

Because misalignments are your inner conflicts.

And they show up as tightness in your body and constriction in your spirit.

As Gripping. Clutching.

Because the natural way, the Divine Order of things, is ease and flow, so when we’re in constriction, or in that tight, holding energy?

That’s just a symptom of misalignment.

Doesn’t mean anyone is bad or wrong.

Doesn’t mean anything is bad or wrong.

Just misaligned.

And entropy is a natural law, so that happens over time.

When you want to call things in, when you want to release and receive, you must allow the Divine Order of things to play out and be established in all your affairs.

Always, in all seasons, the Divine Order is that things fall out of alignment and then they realign.

If you let them.

And the way that happens in autumn, the Divine Order of autumn (which it is in my part of the world right now) is shedding.

Catch this principle: alignment is an aperture for abundance and in turn, all shedding is an aperture for alignment.

Whether you are shedding leaves, lies. Restraints. Attachments to who you’ve been. Attachments to old struggles and disappointments.

Shedding old ways of being, thinking and doing.

Shedding any or all of the above opens you up for alignment, and that opens you up for abundance.

So let the autumn be your teacher and allow to shed what needs to be shed.

Allow the old and outgrown to shed.

Allow the snake’s skin to be your teacher and let friction molt off your old, outdated, outgrown ways of being.

Allow the baby chick to be your teacher and let the shell you’ve been living in become too tight for who you are becoming, allow your head to poke through and peck its way out.

Allow the book to be your teacher, and let the page turn to reveal your next adventure.

No need for blame or shame.

Allow the tardigrade, my favorite bug, to be your instructor and let the season change from stress and scarcity and survival mode to this season in which you are who you are in a powerful, relaxed NOW of graceful allowing and re-creation and intentional reinvention, whether the shifts you’re making in your life are tiny or tremendous.

And let what needs to shed, let it go easefully.

Easefully. Peacefully. Gracefully.

Embracing the vastness of the unknown about what’s coming next, forcing nothing, wholeheartedly engaging with every element of that vastness – which might feel a bit scary – and allow yourself to relax and unfurl as you become who you’re becoming.

Today, as we take our Inner Retreat, let’s drop out of our resisting mind.

Let’s release all holding and protecting energy.

Let’s wipe the slate clean and drop fully into this present moment.

And let’s stay there as long as we can today, to see what Divine Timing and Order bring to us and inspire from us all throughout the day today.

Nestle deeply into your sitting spot, and just sit with a peaceful gaze and soft focus on something around you.

Just breathing, seeing what is before you, hearing what is around you, smelling whatever is in your space.

And just allowing your breath to remind you what a player and full participant you already are in this beautiful game of life.

Close your eyes, softly and gently, and consider even adding a tiny smile to your face if that feels good to you.

Take three deep breaths, filling and emptying your lungs completely three times, just luxuriating in each cycle of inhales and exhales.

Bringing your breath as low in your body as you can.

Lavishing in these moments of life where you just have nowhere else you’d rather be and nothing else you’d rather be doing than taking this Inner Retreat.

Recalibrating.

Reconnecting.

Re-Sourcing.

Getting just what you’ll need for today.

You can come back for more tomorrow, or even later today, if you’d like.

You’re always welcome here.

On your inhales, receive Infinite Intelligence and the Divine Wellbeing of Limitless Love.

Receive the Creative Power that formed all worlds.

And focus on the word: JUST.

As you exhale, release all tension, relax your muscles and your brow and your jaw and anything that is tight or clenched within you, and breathe out as you hold in your mind the word: THIS.

Inhale: JUST.

Exhale: THIS.

And just sit and breathe and be like this for another 10 minutes today.

When your mind wanders, let it wander for awhile, then gently bring it back to focus on JUST on your inhales, and THIS on your exhales.

Just this moment.

Just this soul.

Just this life.

Just this spirit.

Reveling in all that is fresh and new this moment, just like you’re beginning all over again today… because you are.

Transformation Tuesday | My personal “Magic Question” to ask yourself now 💡

Last week, I started sharing what I’m doing and teaching my students about how to have a long, lavish and inspiring onramp into 2020.

My intention is to help you have a clear vision for what you want to create in 2020 way before we even start the New Year.

So I’m calling this video series 2020 Vision… get it??

My intention is also to help you do what I do every year, which is to begin the process of:

  • aligning what needs aligning
  • metabolizing what needs metabolizing
  • clearing space for the fresh, new things you’re calling in
  • getting resourced and ready, and
  • releasing Inner Resistance to your dreams and goals so far in advance that you might actually start living your 2020 vision before 2019 is even done.

As I shared my own approach to getting ready for 2020 (which you can watch on IGTV at the links below), what emerged was a theme:

Things you should say to yourself to start opening up to a beautiful vision for your next season.

Ask yourself: What wonderful things are trying to come to me and through me?

Say to yourself Gay Hendricks’ Ultimate Success Mantra:

“I expand in abundance, success and love every day as I inspire others to do the same.”

Surrender with the Declaration: I declare that Divine Order is now established in my mind body and affairs.

And when you get a Divine Download…

When you receive your golden threads of inspiration…

When you’re struck with an idea or a flash of a vision that is so gorgeous and resonant it would normally trigger fear and catastrophe thoughts about all the bad things that could happen if you dare to step forward…

That’s when I want you to ask yourself my personal Magic Question:

What’s the best that could happen?

May your answers to my Magic Question soothe, exhilarate and activate you, now and in 2020.

Transformation Tuesday | 99 days till 2020 ⌛

Friends,

Today is a very special Transformation Tuesday, because 99 days from now will be the first day of the year 2020.

>> Listen to the AUDIO of today’s Transformation Tuesday.

2020, I find, is such an iconic-sounding year in most of our minds because of what it represents or represented many years ago, really.

It sounded and felt so incredibly futuristic back in the day.

And it might still sound that way to you now even though it’s only 99 days away.

And so I invite you to treat it how we in the School of Spiritual Strategy treat any future you want to intentionally create: with the knowledge that your future simply reflects your energetic, emotional, vibrational, spiritual now.

So, and this part might be totally revolutionary for you, let’s approach creating your 2020 future reality this way: by totally ignoring what you don’t like about your now or would prefer to be different in your future.

Instead, let’s tune into what you love about right now.

This is not something we always do in Transformation Tuesday, but I’m going to ask you to do it today: it’s a little guided Practice.

Get to your favorite place to sit, and sit well.

Let your mind parts and your body parts all sink in and settle in, close your eyes, let gravity and these first few moments of time here work together to pull the tension and tightness or gripping or clutching out of your muscles and your joints.

Release all the micro-muscles in your face and your jaw and around your eyes.

Straighten your spine up as you sit, and lengthen up through the sides of your body.

And take three delicious, replenishing, cleansing breaths, filling and emptying the entire container of your torso – everything below your neck and above your pelvis – three times before coming back to breathe at your own pace.

One of my teachers once said that the language of this Universe is “More, please.”

Kind of like I’m teaching my baby granddaughter right now, in baby sign language to use her words and say, “more, please” instead of whining and crying about what she doesn’t like.

“More, please.”

As you sit today, I want you to let your mind wander a little bit more than you might normally be used to doing during meditation.

Scan through your body and your mind and your thoughts and your life, your relationships, your projects, your memories, your everything.

Let your focus be like dye that just sticks to and coats every element of the things that come to mind that you love…only the elements of those subjects that you love.

Let your focus stick to a particularly beautiful memory of a particularly beautiful moment.

Or let it stick to this thing you loved about that relationship or job, and then this thing you loved about that other one, and so on.

Catch this principle: that you can focus on different things you loved about different experiences and cobble them together on a spiritual plane to create one new season on that subject that has lots of things you love about it.

Think about it through the lens of relationships: you liked the playfulness of that relationship and the ambition of that one and the high-energy of that one, and the spirituality and grounding of that one.

When you do this, focusing on just the elements of what you love and want more of in this way, you honor every one of those relationships and turn them all into this beautiful path of stepping stones lighting up, one to the next one, all leading to the next one.

And hey, when it comes to relationships, the next beautiful relationship you’re creating that you know is possible might even include the next season of the relationship you’re already in.

So let your focus stick on the one wonderful memory or thing you love, maybe about a person who might otherwise be stirring up trouble, someone with whom you may be having a power struggle, but what’s one wonderful thing about them?

Maybe once in a while bring your mind back to focus on the word MORE on your inhales and PLEASE on your exhales, when you want to bring your mind back to a point of focus.

But mostly let your mind go free, unresisted, but with every new thought or topic that comes to mind, find something on the subject that you love about it and would like more of in 2020.

And in that, note and name what it is you love and want more of on every subject that comes to mind, just lightly, touch the thing you love like a feature and then let your mind go.

Then just let your mind sit on these things for a moment, just an instant, before you let it wander to the next thing or before you bring it back to focus occasionally on the words MORE on the inhales and PLEASE on your exhales.

MORE.

PLEASE.

As you go, noting and naming what really works for you, what really floats your boat, what you love about the people, places and things and memories and experiences and activities and animals and trees and topics that come to your mind.

Before we end this little inner retreat, and you can stay here as long as you want, but before you end bring your mind back to say to the Universe, to the Divine, the Infinite Intelligence and Limitless Love, the Creative Power that formed all worlds, to your own Inner Being, to the voice of the Divine that speaks to you, within you and to all the resources in the Circle: “More, please.”

Keep your head up and your heart out,
